Ingredients
- Flour1.3 kg
- Baking powder60 g
- Salt10 g
- Sugar120 g
- Butter, cold240 g
- Buttermilk800 ml
- Milk, for brushinga little
Method
- Combine the dry ingredients and butter in a mixer on low.
- Pour the buttermilk in slowly — watch the consistency.
- Don't overwork.
- Flatten the dough on a floured surface.
- Cut into circles and brush with milk.
- Bake at 180 °C in a preheated oven.
