Orange and Chocolate Shortbread — Jamie Oliver

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Grease a 20 cm baking tin and line with baking paper.
  2. Cut the butter and work it into the flour: mix the butter, flour and sugar with your fingertips until crumbly.
  3. Add the zest of ½ orange.
  4. Press gently into the dish — no pressure.
  5. Press holes with a fork.
  6. Bake until golden, 20 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with extra sugar and the remaining orange zest, and drizzle with the melted dark chocolate.
