Mrs Balls Chutney Copycat Recipe

Ingredients
- Dried apricots500 g
- Onions, diced500 g
- Water500 ml
- Salt5 ml
- Sultanas250 g
- Sherry vinegar350 ml
- White sugar250 g
- Dried chilli flakes5 ml
Method
- Soak the apricots and sultanas in the vinegar overnight.
- Blend until roughly chopped (not too small) and place in a saucepan.
- Chop the onions to the size of raisins and add to the fruit.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.
- Bring to the boil, turn the heat down, put the lid on and simmer for 30–45 minutes, until thick and syrupy.
- Cool, then put into jars.
