Mini Cheese and Onion Tartlets

Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Sauté the diced onions; add salt, pepper and thyme.
  3. Roll out the pastry, cut into rounds to fit a mini muffin tin; press down and prick the base.
  4. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, crème fraîche and cheese.
  5. Spoon the onion into the tart shells.
  6. Pour the cheese liquid over.
  7. Bake at 180 °C for about 20–25 minutes.

Notes

Makes about 20 mini tartlets.
