Marie Biscuit Fruit Squares

Ingredients
- Margarine120 g
- Sugar125 ml
- Mixed fruit250 ml
- Large egg, beaten1
- Vanilla15 ml
- Marie biscuits1 packet
Method
- Cook the margarine, sugar and fruit over low heat to melt the sugar (±4 minutes).
- Remove from the heat; add the vanilla and beaten egg.
- Return to the heat and allow to thicken.
- Add the broken biscuits and press into a dish.
- Place in the fridge to set.
