Ingredients

Method

  1. Place the mixed fruit, sugar, water and butter in a pot.
  2. Cook slowly for 15 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool.
  4. Add the sifted flour, bicarb and mixed spice.
  5. Add the beaten egg, brandy, chopped nuts and cherries.
  6. Pour into a lined tin and bake.
