Curry Beans for Kuier Kos

Method

  1. Cut the beans into small rings.
  2. Cook the beans and diced onions in the vinegar until soft.
  3. Add the sugar, cloves, salt and curry; cook a while longer.
  4. Thicken with a maizena paste made with some of the vinegar.
  5. Cook until done, then bottle while hot.

Notes

From 2019. Yields 7 jars (425 ml preserving jars, lid D82). The original called for 3 c sugar, corrected to: try 2 c.
