Ingredients
- Dried peaches612 g
- Dried apricots238 g
- Brown vinegar3 l
- White sugar2.5 kg
- Diced onions500 g
- Salt120 g
- Cayenne pepper75 g
Method
- Soak the fruit in the vinegar overnight; drain.
- Blend until the desired size.
- Return to the pot with the onions, sugar, etc. and cook.
- Add the cayenne.
Notes
If a hot version is wanted, add 75 g chilli.
