Ingredients
- Flour500 g
- Dry yeast7 g
- Olive oil30 ml
- Salt5 ml
- Honey5 ml
- Warm water300 ml
Method
- Mix the flour, yeast and salt.
- Mix the water, oil and honey, then add to the dry ingredients.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, until it is no longer sticky. Sprinkle with more flour if needed.
- Oil a loaf tin and place the dough in it. Cover with a plastic bag and allow to rise for 1 hour.
- Heat the oven to 200 °C.
- Make slashes across the top, then bake for 30–35 minutes.
