Banana Chutney for Kuier Kos

Ingredients

Method

  1. Place the spices in a pot with some of the vinegar and cook for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped banana and raisins with the remaining vinegar and the sugar.
  3. Bring to the boil.
  4. Simmer until done, about 40 minutes.

Notes

Fills 290 ml jars (De Werkbij). Tip from the book: mash half the fruit if you don't like it too chunky, and chop the other half.
